When choosing the right shock it really comes down to budget and application. You will have 3 different shock options: Gas Shocks, IMS (Internal Monotube Shock), Remote Reservoir Shocks.
Gas Shocks are more of a budget option.
IMS Shocks are for the intermediate to advanced off road vehicle.
Remote Res Shocks are for the top dog off road vehicle or for someone doing a substantial amount of towing. The remote res also allows you the ability to adjust the firmness depending on the terrain.

This will depend on the vehicle and how high you plan to lift it. We can recommend it for most lifts but it would usually be for when lifting 3” and above. 2” lift kits you can usually get away without it.
Again this depends on the vehicle. Here are some common vehicles to hopefully help:
Toyota Hilux – 3” Lift Kit and above (highly recommend diff drop)
Ford Ranger – 2” Lift Kit and above
Mazda BT50 – 2” Lift Kit and above
Nissan Navara – 3” Lift Kit and above
Toyota 79 series – 2” Lift Kit and above
Dobinson has a strong 2 year warranty on their products.
Hell yes! If you plan on installing yourself or someone else installs you must get a wheel alignment. When you get a lift kit installed at ALPHA tyres we usually do one on the day before pick up and then we always recommend coming back after 500km for complimentary bolt check once everything has settled.
Timeline to book in usually depends on product availability. If stock is good we can get you in within the week! On the day of your booking we require the vehicle for the day! If it is ready any earlier you will be notified.
